Hello Final Five.
I'm so happy with the outcome of this week. Such a strong week. I feel like every single one of you should move forward to the next round. Unfortunately, one of you have to leave Australia tonight.
Let's see the photos
Chris: I love this Aaron. The pose is different and interesting. I love the way you carry the guitar. You make this photo looks so fashionable. I love the fact that I see a model here. Love you in this hairstyle. Overall, I love this. Great job Aaron.
Jensen: It's different, so that's good. I like your styling and modeling. While this doesn't wow me, it does impress me.
Nico: I also love this.. you look hot!! That hairstyle is totally rocking and the guitar is sexy... The only issues I have are the lack of a setting.. while its still a freestyle round, I feel this shot in particular would go well with a country/western setting instead of a black rustic wall. Other than that, great work
Neil: Great pose. Love the retro look. Could have been taken further possibly with a better setting, but overall a solid photo from a modeling and fashion standpoint.
Ru: Honey, you are serving us suave rocker realness here, and I am eating every minute of it. Everything in this works in your favour. Your journey from sleazy creep to hot man has really been something interesting to watch.
Chris: I think it's really hard to take a great photo while doing a movement. It looks like you're walking and jumping at the same time here but it didn't affect the outcome of this photo at all. I think it looks natural. Love the fashion sense in this photo. Just gorgeous.
Jensen: Action shots are a great way to go sometimes. Everything looks natural with your action and expression and your setting and styling are great. What I don't like and can't get past is how stick thin you look. You look very sickly skinny in this photo. The angles are just adding to it. I'm not happy with that because it looks unnatural.
Nico: I love how exciting this photo is.. the setting is beautiful, the fashion is great, the action is lively and interesting.. the beard and expression aren't the best, but its happy and it makes me happy. I do have to agree with Jensen about how stick thin you look.. that leg though... you look like a pencil! Very unnatural.. you need some muscle or something! haha Good luck!
Neil: Love that it's an action pose. I like your suit. But what I like most is that you're giving us something so completely different than we normally get from you. This is more energy and emotion than you've given us from all of your other photos combined. Great job.
Ru: You are working your limbs here, and those long legs are to die for. You make hailing a cab look fierce. However, that smile is off-putting for me, and a sexy smoulder directly at camera would have brought this picture to the next level.
Chris: I love the styling of this photo. It makes up the lack of setting in this photo. I think it's very moody, edgy and I love the fact that it's still look like a modelling shot. And also, for the first time, I see a model in this shot. Great job, Hugh.
Jensen: I like this. I love the high fashion and edginess it has. I love how modelicious you look. I wish you were looking up a bit more but that's ok, this is really good.
Nico: Though the shadows do hide a lot of your features, I really like the mysteriousness in the shot... its dark & moody, and I love it! Lack of setting does hurt it for me a teensy bit, but nothing you should worry about. Love the fashion too... you look sexy here.. good work
Neil: It's a nice photo and I love the drama that the shadows add to the shot. It's solid fashion and decent modeling. This shot on any other round this game, probably would be near the top. This round, the competition is tough, so we'll have to see where it lands. Still, I'm liking it.
Ru: Hugh, I love the shadows casting over your brows and cheeks, but I feel this picture lacks emotion. There is emotion there, don't get me wrong, but it's fizzling for me... That outfit, though, is to die for; I may have to borrow it and modify it for my own personal use.
Chris: Mackie, I think you have the best styling this week. The combination of the styling is just perfect. Instead of jeans and t-shirt, I want my man to wear something like this. The face is a little bit too rough but other than that, this is amazing, Macklemore. I still can't believe you made it to Top 5. Macklemore? Wow.
Jensen: I'm not sure I like this You look good but you look bored. Your face is so expressionless. The setting is a bit hard on the eyes with the lines. I'm just not in love like I have been in the past
Nico: Gotta agree with Jensen on the expression... you look bored and it's making me feel bored... It's like you only have one look! You need some face modelling lol I do love the setting and the fashion is pretty good, but as a whole i'm not loving the shot... quality feels a little off to me. Good luck!
Neil: I'm not a big fan of the background of this shot. A faked background can be very hit and miss cause sometimes the judges will respond to it and sometimes they don't. This is unfortunately one of the times where it doesn't work for me. Mainly because the setting could have been achieved in a regular shoot with a real background and I don't see the additional artistic merit it provides in this manner. You are still giving us different fashion here and we can always count on you for that. The pose is a fairly standard one, but is a standard for a reason.
Ru: Macklemore, you're here because you were better than the other gentlemen who were in the competition (Though it also might be a testament to how weak the celebrity choices were this cycle). Macklemore. The superimposed background wouldn't usually bother me, I am for all things fake. But this time, it does. Your head looks abnormally doctored, and elongated. It's a really big problem for me. It's not the kind of big head I want to see.
Chris: Wow, I think you nailed it this week. This shot looks like it is from famous men's fashion magazine. The styling is on point. The whole concept of this photo is just brilliant. I'm not sure how I'm going to rank this week.
Jensen: Your modeling and styling are top of the line. Very good job there. Your facial expression is a bit.........harsh. Like you're thinking way too hard. Other than that, I like this a lot.
Nico: I also love this shot... jeez you guys are killing it this week! I like this shot... scratch that, i am in love with this shot... you look classy as fuck (pardon my french). B&W is my favourite too... the setting, the fashion, the modelling expression.. No complaints... okay maybe the lack of a neck.. thats two shots in a row without a neck.. show off that neck lol... other than that, bravo
Neil: I feel like the sepia adds a nice artistic element to the shot. It's a really nice looking picture of you. Great fashion, great setting, a nice little twist on your angle here to make it a bit more interesting. Good work.
Ru: Tom, I suppose you did just use your most eyecatching photoshoot last round. This works as well, in where you look like an older, professional male model. Just a bit past the prime of male models, but still sought after. Overall, I am liking the feel of this picture. It looks like it could be a part of any high end magazine spread.
